Horizontal Disc Type Sand Mill

Introduction:

JWS series horizontal disc type sand mills are applicable for supper fine processing of powders or granules in liquids. The mills are suitable for processing of the particle size range from 200 microns down to submicron with a wide range of grinding media from 0.3 mm to 1.6 mm in diameter. Products fed by a feeding pump are forced to flow horizontally through the grinding tank from the material inlet near the mechanical seal towards the other end and exit from the discharge port at the end of grinding chamber while grinding media are retained in the mill by the centrifugal separator.

Applications:

● The horizontal disc type sand mills are suitable for wet grinding of paint, ink, dye, pesticide, color paste, non-mineral filler, etc.

Features:

● Material of grinding discs and spacers can be customized according to the properties of products.

● Cooling jacket outside the grinding chamber is provided to adjust material temperature.

● Pressure switch is available to prevent the mill from start when the cooling water pressure in cooking
jacket is lower than set value.

● Electric contact pressure switch at the material inlet on grinding chamber is available to protect the grinding chamber from high pressure.

● Electric contact temperature switch at product outlet is available to protect the products from overheating.

● Dynamic ring & static ring type separator is available as an alternative of the screen type separator for discharge of products.

● Comply with the European Machinery Directive of CE
